• Schiphol aircraft noise and flight paths: depending on wind direction, you may hear jets regularly, especially mornings and evenings.
• Limited walkable retail; the local shops are spread out along Schipholdreef rather than clustered. Groceries typically mean a short cycle ride or car trip.
• Car-dependent for most errands: buses exist (connexxion services) but frequencies are low compared to Amsterdam.
