Our journey started around July or August 2025 when we began searching for a home. Although I know Amstelveen quite well, I had very little understanding of the local housing market. Over the course of our search, Lisa became my go to person. She was practically on my WhatsApp speed dial because I was constantly asking questions, seeking advice, and looking for reassurance. We submitted many bids, lost many bids, and even went through a particularly disappointing situation early on when we thought we had secured a house, only to lose it afterwards.
