• Schools (both regular and international) are established in Zoetermeer; families don't have to hunt far

• Zoetermeer is a municipal administrative center built in the 1970s–80s; it has neither old-quarter charm nor a strong independent identity
• Limited independent nightlife or cultural scene; entertainment tends toward chain restaurants and big-box retailers
• The neighborhood lacks walkable local character; most errands require a car or a trip to Zoetermeer's commercial center
• Summer heat is not well managed; the planned layout with wide, exposed streets offers little shade or cooling relief
