Our journey started around July or August 2025 when we began searching for a home. Although I know Amstelveen quite well, I had very little understanding of the local housing market. Over the course of our search, Lisa became my go to person. She was practically on my WhatsApp speed dial because I was constantly asking questions, seeking advice, and looking for reassurance. We submitted many bids, lost many bids, and even went through a particularly disappointing situation early on when we thought we had secured a house, only to lose it afterwards. Throughout it all, Lisa was incredibly supportive. She was patient, calm, knowledgeable, and always willing to help. Looking back, I think there were moments where I might have lost patience myself, but she never did. One thing I especially appreciated was that we did not really know what we wanted at the start. It does a great job in pulling data that is either not really available or available only behind a paywall, organizing that data and providing great insights to understand the market dynamics. While there are still nuances of the housing market, Walter does a great job in empowering buyers by removing information asymmetry that favors sellers and real estate agents. I always recommend Walter to friends that are going through the same process.

The platform is useful in getting important information about the estimate valuation of various properties. You also get a rough estimation of expected buds so you can decide yourself without a need of third party agent. Highly recommended.

Great example of tech enablement I came to WalterLiving on the recommendation of a colleague. Played around with the AI to get a sense of how good the platform is. This is obviously subjective - but I threw everything I could at it - and it reasoned out circumstances and responses really well. Convinced of the tech, I decided to work with humans, at Walter Living. :) I was given fantastic, thoughtful, and prompt responses at every stage.
